We're Sorry

Fancy sauce has been pretty good this year, but I have to apologize to the listeners.  Last show in an angry state I played a song by Rebecca Black called “Friday”.  I had not heard the song myself ever, only the laughing ridicules that I have overheard from groups of sorority girls that knew way too much about it for it be an object of scorn.  After I played the song, however, I realized that it was still painful enough to break the standards of the growl.  Thegrowl.org is a respectable station and I, on behave of the co-host of fancy sauce apologize for holding your ears hostage for that four horrific minutes.
                                                                                                                                                Sincerely,
                                                                                                                                                                Matthew Barnes

Next week we plan on having more structure to our show and possibly have a few guests that are not mike, as much as we appreciate his sardonic wit.  I would love to tell you we actually have an interview ready for you guys but trying to get a hold of a comedian is like trying to catch a greased pig except the pig is drunk and self-loathing, with-out any sort of work ethic.

MORE

Fancysauce has had I pretty rough start this semester but, whatever we are busy.  Next week’s show will be the one that counts.  We will actually have Merr this time he was pretty beaten up last week from his life as a ne’er-do-well, but we can forgive him for that. He will be on to promote his MEO podcast which I personally think is the bee’s knees. Also I dropped the ball personally in getting an interview with Michael Sanchez who is one of the comedians you should know; which is the name of their website you probably could take or leave him as a person but he is a pretty good comic.  Our first show will seem as if it never happened once you feast your ears on the next one.  Even Sarah Richardson will mostly likely be there if she feels like it.  We will be going to the week in news with Sam Crowe if he deicides to pick up a news paper but moreover, we will be talking about the comedy show that will be happening this Friday at Da Cubby Hole 9pm (that’s how it is spelled).  It is the first time that venue will be hosting any sort of a comedy show so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.  We are more than sophisticated, we are fancy so listen next week as we provide you with information about our lives that you couldn’t care less about; on the Growl e radio with a byte.

No news is bad news

So, we don't have a show yet, but hold on folks.  "Fancysauce" has been delayed for a week we have not been given a time slot so nothing really to inform you about.  We are trying to get some local music to liven things up for the listeners but, other than that we are not seeing much change in the show format or anything.  This season you can look forward to an interview with Merr the comedian that host "Laughingstock"  at "The Outland Bar" every first tuesday of the month. If you are interested you can see the nest show on March 1st.  Since it is a bar it is only open to those 21 and up, sorry to our listeners cant attend.  Next month will be the shows anniversary and they are celebrating the fact with a roast of Merr. Roast,  are those comedy things where a guy sits in a chair and people make fun of him for a really long time about his traits.  So for anyone that wants to know some his negative traits; he is fat, is a Springfield native and is not funny.

Prepare to prepare

Hello one and all to the first post of the fancysauce blog.  I am Matt Barnes and a few things about me are that I am not the Matt Barnes that plays basketball, I am the one that makes half a living being unfunny in various different bar settings; check it out
The actual show Fancy Sauce has not started this semester yet because the growl is slowly but surely coming out of hibernation and we will have a timeslot to give you entertainment as soon as possible.  If you are familiar with our show I have been known for my half baked attempts at humor. This season we have three other people helping me out: The Duke John Luke Stanton, his passion for fashion is always informative;  Salty Samboo, we call him that because  he is always working out and taste salty if you lick him and you will want to; Sarah Richardson, we needed a feminine touch to the show and she was the best we could get… sorry.
You know what they say, four people half-assing their job makes for at least two whole ones.  Prepare for Fancy Sauce; just like raisin bran buts two scoops of raisins in every box, we put two whole asses of comedy into each show.  We plan on prerecording a lot of content to up the quality of it so please tune in to the growl. We don’t have a time slot yet but just keep listening and when you hear something you actually enjoy on the station it will probably be us.
For our first episode Luke gives fashion tips, Julia child makes a turkey sandwich, and a man is put to death by electrocution. Now that’s what I call fancy.
